Melissa Ezechukwu, Digital Consultant

About me

I'm a digital strategist and consultant with over 17 years of experience, predominantly in the tech-for-good space.

My journey began managing digital projects for some of the UK’s leading businesses and charities, like Butlins, Mothercare, Action for Children, and MSI Reproductive Choices. Later, I moved agency-side to broaden my impact, leading digital strategy workshops and helping hundreds of charities to plan their digital presence.

In 2020, I took the leap to independence, founding MDE Digital Ltd in 2024. As a consultant, I've guided organisations through digital transformation, from redesigning local council user journeys to mapping charity websites and exploring AI opportunities for media organisations. I also collaborate with freelancers and agencies, including as an associate for digital design agency, William Joseph.

Beyond my day-to-day work, I'm particularly passionate about creating a more inclusive tech sector. I mentor women in tech, speak about digital diversity, and serve as Digital Trustee for International Broadcasting Trust.
